Corrections and updates

Last updated

Our policy

We correct errors quickly and in the open. When a fact on this site is wrong, we fix it on the page and record the correction below with the date and what changed. We do not quietly rewrite history. When Porsche publishes new information that changes a page, for example a power figure, a price or a production date, we record that update here too, so returning readers can see what is new.

A correction is an error we made. An update is new information that did not exist when we wrote the page. We label each entry as one or the other. Small fixes that do not change meaning, such as a typo, are not logged.

To report an error, use the contact form and choose "Correction". Tell us the page, the sentence and, if you can, a source that shows the correct fact. Corrections are handled before any other message.

Reported figures on the spec sheet are not corrections when they turn out to be wrong: we labeled them as reported from the start. When Porsche confirms or contradicts one, we move it to the right column and log the update.

Log

  1. Update: added Porsche CEO Michael Leiters' on-record statements from the reveal (no battery-electric version; combustion, hybrid or plug-in hybrid possible) to the overview and spec sheet. Added the Mission S vs Mission X comparison, the mid-engine lineage and the timeline.

  2. Site launched. All confirmed facts checked against the Porsche Newsroom release of 15 October 2026 and the strategy release of 7 October 2026.
