Three kinds of information, never mixed
Every claim on this site belongs to exactly one of three groups, and the page tells you which.
- Confirmed. Stated by Porsche in an official release, on the Porsche Newsroom or in Porsche investor material. We link the release and quote it where the wording matters.
- Reported. Published by another outlet but not confirmed by Porsche. We name and link the outlet, give the date, and label the figure as reported. We do not round, combine or "average" reported numbers into something that looks more official.
- Unknown. Nobody credible has said. We say so plainly instead of estimating.
Sources we use
Primary sources come first: Porsche's press releases and media packages, Porsche executive statements on the record, and Porsche's own investor releases. Secondary sources are used only to report that a claim exists, never to establish it as fact. Each content page ends with its sources, and each source is fetched and read at the time of writing, not recalled from memory.
Images
Photographs and drawings come from Porsche's official Mission S media package, shown with Porsche's captions and a credit to Porsche AG. We do not alter them beyond resizing and cropping for layout, and we do not use images from leaks or from other outlets.
Independence, tools and updates
No one pays for coverage here, and Porsche has no say over what we publish. If the site ever carries advertising, advertisers will have no influence on content; see the advertising disclosure. Software tools assist with drafting; a person checks every claim against its source before publication and is accountable for it. When Porsche releases new information, we update the affected pages and record what changed on the corrections and updates log.
